The West

Just back from a very quick visit to WA. Macca's mums 70th birthday party. Flew out Saturday morning ( well should have) 4hour delay in Adelaide, so a two and a half hour flight, turned into a 7 hour journey. OMG not fun standing at Adelaide airport. The First hour was sitting on the plane then they disembarked all passengers and told us the problem with the toilets computer would need looking at by the engineers. This was to take 45 mins... Don't believe all that you hear!! It took three more hours to fix.

 Ah well, when we finally touched down in Perth, the weather was great, the air was fresh, and great to see Macca with his family.

Did some sewing tonight..

 

Finally started quilting the Kimono tonight, nice to do a bit of sewing.. These bits are the sleeves,the fabric on the left of this photo is the backing fabric or lining of the kimono. The body of the Kimono is quite long (double your length) so need plenty of space, and time for that.:))) not the best photos doesn't quite do the colours justice.. I'm stitching in the ditch of all seams, may do some extra quilting if time permits.

Sunday day of rest.....

Hahahaha!!!!!! Built a glass cabinet with child of mine today .... OMG??? but at least it is finished, and he is very pleased. So am I, I now have somewhere to put my Portmerion china which I shouldn't have purchased earlier this year!! : )))
